6 months

Mr B'Gosh had his 6 month check-up Friday and is doing great!! His weight gain has slowed down, thank goodness, but he continues to grow length-wise. He is weighing in at 18 lbs 14 oz (75%), 28 inches long (95%), and head 17 1/2 (75%). We are moving in to stage 2 baby food, and had turkey for dinner last night!!! Mmmmm! He seemed to like it, as with all foods so far.
Friday evening while at our friends David and Elizabeth's house he rolled over from back to tummy!! I am so proud of him! We continue to work on sitting up on his own, but he doesn't seem to be ready for that yet.
Dan and I are trying no to go nutty in our empty house. The movers took it all away Friday, so for the weekend we have 2 folding chairs, an air mattress, and Josh's pack and play. It is mighty echo-ey in the house, but we are trying to make the best of it. Thank goodness for good friends and neighbors who are helping us out.
Monday morning we hit the road and are stopping in Montgomery, Alabama for the night, and finishing the trip to Biloxi, Mississippi Tuesday. Still no more word on the housing issue-we are on a waiting list for base housing, and are currently looking into maybe buying a house in the next city over, Ocean Springs. It is stressful and for someone like me who likes to be planned and know whats going on, its tough. But, we are keeping in mind we have no control over it and are just going to have to roll with it! I will try to keep everyone updated as it all unfolds, either on the blog or via email.
