Blowing bubbles!

Josh's new form of entertainment is blowing bubbles!

Trying to crawl

Earlier this week I saw on my friend Betsy's blog that her son Weston was in his crib working on his crawling skills by rocking back and forth. The very same day I went to check on Joshua during his nap and found him doing the same thing!! Here he is:

Loving this weather!!

We went to the marina on base yesterday and enjoyed all this sunshine. It was Joshua's first time for a lot of things--seeing fishing boats, going down the slide, swinging, and feeling the sand beneath his toes. The weather has been gorgeous (up to 80!) so we are trying to take full advantage of it. Josh's new 'thing' is blowing bubbles with his tongue. He LOVES to make noise/talk all day, grab his toes, and blow lots of bubbles. I also spotted a little hole in his bottom gum where a tooth is trying ever so hard to come through. He is such a happy and active boy I wouldn't be surprised if he up and walked some day soon! His legs are always in motion kicking and rocking himself in his bouncy seat. He is very good with his hands and likes to "type" on the keyboard. (Those of you who we've Skyped have seen his data entry skills)

No major news in the housing department. We moved to 30 on the waiting list, and supposedly 16 of those are in leases through May (theoretically making us 14). While we are still hopeful it will be (very) soon, we're trying not to get ahead of ourselves until there is a key in our hand. We purchased a whole new living room set from Ashley furniture and it is on hold until we tell them where to deliver it. It will be great to finally get out of this temporary living spot and settled into our own home. More updates as they unfold.
